What is Arctic Comic Con?

Arctic Comic Con is Alaska's largest comic book & pop culture event. Alaskan owned and operated, we focus on creating a fun and friendly event for everyone! While our primary focus is that of comics, comic creators, and the creative process, Arctic Comic Con also provides its attendees with access to gaming, sci-fi, cosplay, anime, fantasy, and celebrity guests! Our goal is to provide you with a rewarding, fun, and family-friendly event experience.

Where is Arctic Comic Con?

Arctic Comic Con takes place in Anchorage, Alaska and the venue is the Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center (600 W 7th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501)

When is Arctic Comic Con?

Arctic Comic Con is Saturday April 30, 2022 thru May 1, 2022. Show Floor Hours: Saturday 12pm - 6pm Sunday 12pm - 6pm

Who needs a ticket?

All attendees 6 years and up need a ticket to enter Arctic Comic Con. We recommend all children under 18 attend with an adult and all children under 13 must have an adult with them while attending Arctic Comic Con.

What is the refund policy?

Tickets and badges are non-refundable.

Is there parking at the convention center?

There is ample street parking & parking garages around the Dena'ina Center area. Arctic Comic Con does not validate parking for any reason.

Is there a security check?

Yes, there is. We have put in place a bag check to ensure no weapons are brought into the convention center. We will have directional signs along with staff on hand should you have any questions. Please note: We DO NOT hold any items that are not allowed at the show for pick up later. Entry Points: VIP Passes, Exhibitors/Vendors, Guests, and Artist Alley will enter through their own, separate entrance South Entrance. Anyone requiring accessibility access will also enter through a designated ADA Entrance. All other badge holders, Weekend, Saturday, Sunday will use the Main, General Admission entrance.

Is there a dress code?

Yes. In keeping with our family-friendly atmosphere, and for health and safety reasons, ACCA enforces a dress code. Proper attire must be worn at all times, including shirts and appropriate footwear. Clothing with rude, vulgar, or offensive language or graphics is not permitted at any time. Admission to ACCA may be denied if clothing is deemed by ACCA management to be inappropriate.

Can I wear a costume?

Absolutely! Arctic Comic Con encourages costumes and cosplay. Please make sure, though, your costume follows our costume and cosplay policy. Attendees who do not follow to these guidelines may be required to modify their costumes, refused entry, or asked to leave.

Can I bring food?

Outside food is not allowed into the convention. But, There will be food vendors inside Arctic Comic Con.

Can I take photos?

Photography is allowed, but not in high traffic areas. This includes near doors, escalators, and in busy hallways. Please move to a designated photography area to take photos. Inappropriate photography will be subject to our harassment policy. Please read our photography policy for complete details.

If I bring my own item with me, will a guest sign it?

Typically, yes, but not always. You would need to ask each guest individually.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are not permitted at Arctic Comic Con, with the exception of guide, signal, or service animals (as defined by state and local laws).
